Mary ‘Connie’ Scherich
Mary Constance “Connie” Scherich, 93, of Cranberry Township, passed away Sunday, March 9, 2025, while under the care of Rose Crest Assisted Living.
Born Sept. 24, 1931, in Franklin Township, she was the daughter of the late Hal and Sylvia White Funk Sr.
Connie, formerly of Waynesburg, was a devoted Baptist. She worked as a waitress and caterer for many years. Connie was also a member of the Cranberry Township Senior Citizens Club. In her free time, she enjoyed yardwork and flowers, baking delicious pies and chocolate fudge, and playing bingo.
Connie leaves behind to cherish her memory, many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and her great-great-niece; as well as many dear friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, H. Paul Scherich Jr., on Nov. 7, 2002; seven sisters; and six brothers.
SCHERICH — Friends and family of Mary Constance “Connie” Scherich, who died Sunday, March 9, 2025, will be welcomed from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m. Friday, March 14, at BOYLAN-GLENN-KILDOO FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 130 Wisconsin Ave., Cranberry Township.
Connie will be laid to rest at Pinewood Memorial Gardens.
