Jesse Umbaugh

Umbaugh

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Jesse Allen Umbaugh, 2, who was tragically taken from us far too soon on Saturday, March 8, 2025.

Born Sept. 28, 2022, in Butler, Jesse was a bright and joyful spirit who brought love and laughter to everyone around him.

Affectionately referred to as “Poopy,” Jesse was a happy, independent, caring and loving little boy with a special fondness for animals. He adored his mom with all his heart and found joy in the simplest things — playing with his pets, watching “Spirit” and “Secret Life of Pets,” and pushing his favorite toy trucks around. His laugh and playful, mischievous nature made him unforgettable to all who knew him.

Jesse leaves behind his loving parents, Melina Bryner and Alex Umbaugh; his devoted grandparents, Bruce and Tina Bryner; his great-grandmother, Nancy Ice; and his cherished aunt, Mindy Schlemmer, and Uncle Randy. His absence leaves a void that can never be filled, but his memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved him.

Jesse’s parents will forever miss the precious moments they shared with him — Mom will long for the cuddles before nap time and bedtime; while Dad will cherish the memory of their fist bumps, high fives and playful finger boops.

Jesse’s time on this earth was brief, but the love he gave and received was immeasurable. He will always be our sweet little boy, forever loved and never forgotten.
