Buzard

James Arthur “Jim” Buzard, 82, of Zelienople, passed away Sunday, March 16, 2025.

Born May 25, 1942, in Evans City, he was the son of the late James Leroy and Thelma Barbera Buzard.

Jim was a Fixture at Kountry Kitchen, but he will be most remembered for his Christmas Village of 29 years, which he graciously donated to Zelienople Park. He was a loyal employee of BNZ Materials for 30 years, as a supervisor. Jim will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 40 years, Vicky Frishkorn Buzard; daughter, Melinda Battelli-Scopaz (Andy); “His Kids,” Natalie, Jimmy and Roman Royal; his grandchildren, Gabriel and Tara; his sisters, Nola Jean (Dick) Jones and Tina Linnea (Gregg) Hartung; and his brothers, William Henry (Melanee) Buzard and John Louis Buzard.

In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his daughter, Marcy Buzard; his grandson, Keith; his brothers, Charles Leroy and David Paul Buzard; and his sisters, Sandra Lee Walker and Rita Marie Dunkin.

BUZARD — There will be no services for James Arthur “Jim” Buzard, who died Sunday, March 16, 2025, at the family’s wishes.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.

Arrangements were entrusted to BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.
