Joseph Dingfelder

Dingfelder

Joseph James Giammatteo Dingfelder, 31, of West Sunbury, passed away late Monday morning, March 17, 2025, at his home.

Joseph was born in Pittsburgh on March 1, 1994. He was the son of Paul Joseph “Joe” and Kimberly “Kim” Giammatteo Dingfelder.

He was a 2013 graduate of Moniteau High School.

Joseph had been employed for a number of years in heavy highway construction working out of Laborers’ Union Local 323 in Butler. He was a member of the Sons of The American Legion Post 243 in West Sunbury.

Joey enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson with his dad and nephew, Hayden, and looked forward to trout fishing every year with his family and friends. He loved his cat, Luna, his two rescues, Squeaks and Jazzy, and his best buddy, Dominick, the mini donkey.

Joey is loved and will be missed by his parents; his sister, Lacey McLean, and her husband, Alex; his brother, Paul Dingfelder and his wife, Kaylynn; his cherished nieces and nephews, Hayden, Dawson, Mia, Kennedy and Leighton; his maternal grandmother, Dora “Mom Mom” Giammatteo; his paternal grandmother, Kathy “Grandma D” Dingfelder; his paternal grandfather, Paul “Hootie” Dingfelder; as well as a number of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Joey danced with the devil one last time and God wanted him in heaven to be with Pappy James Giammatteo and other family members and friends who have gone on before him in his short life.
