Medical helicopter called after 2 vehicle crash along Oneida Valley Road

CONCORD TWP — One person was injured after two vehicles crashed at the intersection of Oneida Valley Road and Hindman Road around 5:10 p.m. Wednesday, March 19.

One person was loaded into a medical helicopter around 5:50 p.m. before it departed for UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, according to Butler County Emergency Services.

Oneida Valley Road was closed as northbound traffic was diverted down Hindman Road.

West Sunbury and North Washington volunteer fire departments, state police, Butler Ambulance Service and East Butler Volunteer Fire Company Ambulance responded.

The road reopened shortly before 7 p.m. The crash is under investigation.
