The state Department of Transportation has announced that the start of the Callery bridge replacement project is scheduled for Tuesday, April 1.

Chivers Construction of Fairview is the contractor for the project, which is estimated to finish in October. The cost of the bridge replacement is estimated at $4 million.

Traffic on Mars-Evans City Road around the bridge will be reduced to one-lane with a temporary signal.
