Lorraine Cable
Lorraine Elizabeth Cable, 86, of Butler, formerly of Fombell, peacefully passed away Wednesday morning, March 19, 2025, at Good Samaritan Hospice, Wexford.
Born Feb. 1, 1939, in New Kensington, she was the daughter of the late Reid and Lorraine Mason Finney.
She was a member of Camp Run Presbyterian Church.
In her early years, she owned her own salon in her home and then managed and worked at many nursing facility beauty shops in the county.
Lorraine will be remembered as a caregiver for many in the Zelienople area.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, crocheting, going to auctions, and casino trips with her dear friend, Norine Lischy.
She is survived by her children, Denise (Gary) McKean-Neely, Deborah (Kirk) Inskipt and Kevin Cable; grandchildren, Kassandra (Jason) McKean-Lumley, Sean (Morgan) Inskipt, Victoria (Logan) Nencioni and Raymond Cable; and great-grandchildren, Kirsten McKean, Lelynd Lumley and Elio Nencioni.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Cable Jr., whom she married April 27, 1962, and who passed away May 12, 2024; her great-granddaughter, Jaycee Lumley; and her beloved dog, Jack.
CABLE — John, a U.S. Air Force veteran, and his wife, Lorraine Elizabeth Cable, who died Wednesday, March 19, 2025, will be reunited with a memorial service for both of them at 10 a.m. Friday, April 4, at the Cemetery of the Alleghenies, 1158 Morgan Road, Bridgeville, with the Rev. Andrew Shaffer, a previous pastor, neighbor and family friend, officiating.
Cremation services are under the direction of RAISLEY FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 387 Main St., Prospect.
