Police reports

The following items were collected from various police departments and district courts:

Butler Twp

March 19 — Adam Brown, 18, and an unidentified 17-year-old girl, both of Butler, were charged with misdemeanor defiant trespass following a Feb. 26 incident at Walmart. Police said the two were asked to leave the store and refused until police arrived.

March 19 — Adam C. Crawford, 53, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor accident involving damage related to a March 10 crash on Center Avenue. Police said Crawford hit a vehicle and fled the scene.

Callery

March 4 — Timothy J. Bartley, 38, of Renfrew, was charged with two misdemeanor DUI counts related to a Feb. 27 crash. Police said Bartley had a blood alcohol content of 0.134%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.

Penn Twp

March 7 — Melissa M. Kasarda, 34, of Valencia, was charged with misdemeanor driving with a suspended license following a Feb. 23 traffic stop. Police said Kasarda was driving while under suspension for DUI.

March 10 — Bryant M. Quinlan, 37, of Pittsburgh, was charged with two misdemeanor DUI counts following a March 9 traffic stop. Police said Quinlan had a blood alcohol content of 0.16%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.

Slippery Rock

March 10 — Evan P. Pierce, 30, of Elverson, was charged with two misdemeanor counts each of DUI and accident involving damage related to a Feb. 23 crash. Police said Pierce had a blood alcohol content of 0.154%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.

Slippery Rock University

March 10 — Trevor J. McMahon, 19, of Kittanning, was charged with misdemeanor DUI following a March 2 traffic stop. Police said the odor of alcohol emanated from McMahon’s vehicle and showed signs of impairment.

State police, Butler

March 6 — Christopher Micha Smith, 34, of Cranberry Township, was charged with two misdemeanor counts of driving under the influence of alcohol following an Oct. 29, 2023, traffic stop on Interstate 79. Police said Smith had a blood alcohol content of 0.189%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.
