Harrisville to hold Community Band concert
The spring Harrisville Community Band concert is set for 7 p.m. Friday, April 11, at the Harrisville Volunteer Fire Hall, 313 E. Mercer St.
The band is in its 60th year of presenting free concerts for the local area, and this concert will feature selections like "Polka Party," "Hallelujah Chorus," "Hands Across The Sea March," "Highlights From The Wizard of Oz" and "Inspector Gadget."
The band is under the direction of Jim Jaskowak, a retired music educator from Grove City Area School District. The Master of Ceremonies is Vic Karcher, of Grove City.
Refreshments will be served at intermission, and a free will offering will be taken.
