Judith R. Lutz, 82, of Ellwood City, passed away Thursday, March 20, 2025, while under the care of UPMC Cranberry Place.

Born Nov. 1, 1942, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Raymond B. and Eleanor B. (Wise) Earlin.

Judy worked as an LPN and dietary supervisor for Blair Nursing Home. In her younger years, she worked at Passavant Retirement Community in Zelienople. Judy was a longtime member of Park United Presbyterian Church in Zelienople, where she served as a deacon and on session for many years. She also served as the custodian of Park U.P. Church and as a volunteer. Judy also served on the Women’s Association. Above all, she cherished the time she spent with her family. She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her children, Karl Lutz (Pamela), Cheryl Bonzo (Andrew) and Gary Lutz (Stacey); her grandchildren, Chelsie, Celena, Gary Jr., Natasha, Tara, Renee, Lewis, Emily and Jacob; her great-grandchildren, Leah and Hailey; and her sister, Jeannette Earlin; as well as many extended family members.

In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her husband, Chester L. Lutz, who passed away in 1999; and her brother, Dr. David Earlin.

LUTZ — Friends of Judith R. Lutz, who died Thursday, March 20, 2025, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, March 24, at BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 25, at the funeral home.

She will be laid to rest at Pinewood Memorial Gardens.

Memorial donations may be made in her honor to Park U.P. Church, 109 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople, PA 16063.
