Richard A. Heasley, 92, of Butler, passed away Thursday, March 20, 2025, while residing at Quality Life Services — Chicora.

He was born Feb. 24, 1933, in Herman, a son of the late Stuart Heasley and Alverna (Shuler) Heasley.

Richard was retired from the melt shop at the Armco Steel plant in Butler. He enjoyed working on cars and woodworking.

He is survived by his daughter, Jeanna (Robert) Hunt; one son, Richard (Tammie) Heasley; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Irene Crispin and Rita Van Tine; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Albert Heasley; and his sister, Dorothy Curry.
