Kathryn Rosborough

Kathryn Ruth Rosborough, 97, of Butler, passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born Dec. 17, 1927, in Belle Vernon, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Bernice (Peterson) Huttenhour.

Kathryn was a dedicated member of GraceWay Community Church and devoted many years to teaching Sunday school at Jefferson Center Presbyterian Church. She had a passion for woodworking and baking cakes, which she enjoyed sharing with her loved ones.

Kathryn is survived by her daughter, Karen McGill of Butler; her son, David Rosborough of Voorhees, N.J.; two grandchildren, Amanda Badillo of Atco, N.J., and Nathaniel Rosborough of Voorhees, N.J.; as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Allen Rosborough; five sisters, June, Wilma, Doris, Mary Ann and Jean; a brother, Walter; a son-in-law, John McGill; and a daughter-in-law, Mamie Rosborough.

ROSBOROUGH — A funeral service for Kathryn Ruth Rosborough, who died Wednesday, March 19, 2025, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 29 at GraceWay Community Church, 241 Freeport Road, Butler with Pastor Dave West officiating.

Private entombment will follow at Belle Vernon Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to GraceWay Community Church in memory of Kathryn.

Arrangements are under the direction of YOUNG FUNERAL HOME, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler.
