Butler and Mars will be represented at next month’s Cager Classic basketball all-star game.

Among the 44 senior boys and girls hoops players at the event will be Butler girls standouts Sydney Patterson, Avery Maier and Amelia McMichael. The Golden Tornado boys will send Ayden Andrews and Tayt Lucas.

For Mars, boys players Drew Navetta, Will Wilson and Austin Campbell will be on the floor, while girls players Vita Vargo and Carmella McDole will also take part.

The Cager Classic will be held April 5 at Highlands High School, with the girls’ game starting at 5:30 and the boys’ at 7:30. Both games are played over two 20-minute halves. The skills competition for the event will take place the day before.
