Huff

James L. Huff, 80, of Butler, passed away Sunday, March 23, 2025, while under the care of Grove Manor.

Born May 29, 1944, in Butler, he was the son of the late John and Ruby (Morrison) Huff.

James was a graduate of Butler High School and worked for Armco until his retirement. He enjoyed woodworking and being outdoors. James especially liked riding his bicycle, taking his pontoon boat out on Moraine, hanging out at his cottage in Conneaut Lake, and his annual winter trips to Florida. More than anything, he loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by his two sons, Joe (Lori) Huff and Ken (Michelle) Huff; his three grandchildren, Shawn (Sharon) Huff, Scott Huff and Nicole Huff; two sisters, Joyce Hoffman and Debbie (Jim) Rathbun; his brother-in-law, Kevin (Shelley) Hutchison; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Maureen Huff, in 2018.

HUFF — All services for James L. Huff, who died Sunday, March 23, 2025, will be held privately at the request of the family.

He will be laid to rest in Greenlawn Burial Estates.

Arrangements are under the care of THOMPSON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 124 E. North St., Butler.
