The Saxonburg VFW, 572 W. Main St. in Saxonburg, is hosting two events to commemorate Vietnam War Veterans Day on Saturday, March 29.

There will be a community breakfast from 8 to 10 a.m., with a free meal for Vietnam Veterans, plus commemorative official pins for those veterans. The menu for everyone else is à la carte with a full breakfast for about $10.

The VFW also will be home to a cornhole tournament hosted by Saxonburg Cornhole to raise money to put banners of local veterans in Saxonburg on Main Street. Doors open at noon and games begin at 1 p.m. The cost is $20 per person. No partner is needed. There will be food and raffle tickets available for purchase.

The first round of banners will be veterans killed in action or still missing in action, with future rounds open to local families.
