Police reports

The following items were collected from various police departments and district courts:

Adams Twp

March 16 — Miller Paul Marks, 36, of Mars, was charged with misdemeanor driving under the influence following a March 15 traffic stop. Police said Marks possessed a blue glassine bag and showed multiple signs of impairment but refused a chemical blood test.

March 21 — Joseph Damon Brown Chelli, 22, of Valencia, was charged with two misdemeanor driving under the influence counts following a March 15 traffic stop. Police said Chelli had a blood alcohol content of 0.167%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.

Cranberry Twp

March 20 — James Mrofchak, 24, of Pittsburgh, was charged with one felony count each of theft and receiving stolen property, and misdemeanor unauthorized vehicle use related to a March 24 incident. Police said they linked Mrofchak to two stolen vehicles.

Jackson Twp

March 20 — Rebekah Grace Walden, 18, of Evans City, was charged with two misdemeanor counts of marijuana possession following a Feb. 28 incident. Police said two marijuana vape pens were found in Walden’s vehicle.

Middlesex Twp

March 20 — Ada Marie Ferguson, 47, of Valencia, was charged with two misdemeanor driving under the influence counts following a Feb. 28 crash. Police said Ferguson had a blood alcohol content of 0.218%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.

State police, Butler

March 17 — Kevin S. Ziegler, 32, of Sarver, was charged with two misdemeanor counts of driving under the influence following a Feb. 25 crash in Winfield Township. Police said Ziegler had a blood alcohol content of 0.173%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.

March 18 — Alexandra M. Miranda, 21, of Butler, was charged with two misdemeanor driving under the influence counts following a Feb. 22 crash in Brady Township. Police said Miranda had a blood alcohol content of 0.18%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.

March 18 — Maxwell D. Murphy, 21, of Erie, was charged with two misdemeanor driving under the influence counts following a Feb. 23 traffic stop in Slippery Rock Township. Police said Murphy had a blood alcohol content of 0.22%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.

State police, Kittanning

March 21 — Herbert W. Hedglin III, 53, of Slippery Rock, was charged with misdemeanor drug paraphernalia possession following a Dec. 12 traffic stop in Butler. Police said Hedglin had a glass smoking device.

March 21 — Kevin E. Vlassich, 50, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance following a Dec. 12 traffic stop in Butler. Police said Vlassich had a rock of suspected crack cocaine.

March 21 — Colleen M. Baptiste, 39, of Slippery Rock, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia following a Dec. 12 traffic stop in Butler. Police said Baptiste had a plastic baggie containing suspected crack cocaine and a glass smoking device.
