Robin’s Home is raising funds to purchase a company car that will provide critical transportation support for local veterans. Having a vehicle would provide veterans — in programs including the Transitional Housing Program, Certified Peer Specialist Program and Veterans HEART Resource Center — access to services at the VA, Social Security offices, food pantries and more.

A news release from Robin’s Home said transportation is a major barrier for many veterans who rely on Robin’s Home for assistance. Donations will help veterans get to appointments at VA Butler Healthcare, Department of Motor Vehicles, Social Security offices, assistance offices, Butler County Housing Authority and more.
