Sylvia Seevers, 78, of Butler, passed away Monday, March 24, 2025.

She was born in Pittsburgh on Dec. 17, 1946, to the late Thomas and Edna (Astridge) Sutton.

Sylvia was known for her great sense of humor and her kind heart. She loved watching Mass on TV, decorating for every holiday and playing bingo.

She was the mother of John (Dottie) McLellan; sister of Phyllis Connors, Timothy and Charles Sutton, Katherine Doll and April Hearth; and grandmother of Justine McLellan.

Along with her parents, Sylvia was preceded in death by her daughter, Connie McLellan; her brother, Thomas Sutton; and her previous husband, Tom Seevers.

SEEVERS — Arrangements for Sylvia Seevers, who died Monday, March 24, 2025, were made through SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler.

Funeral and burial will be held privately.
