Diana Kay Sloan, 74, of Butler, passed away Saturday, March 29, 2025, at Newhaven Court at Clearview.

Born in her maternal grandmother's home in Deanville, Armstrong County, Pa., she was the third of four children of Richard and LaRue (Griffin) Allen. Her sister, Linda (Richard) Campbell; brother, John; and sister-in-law, Linda (Cockcroft) Allen, predeceased her.

Diana taught school and GED preparation classes. She was an avid reader and an active environmentalist and flower gardener, and she enjoyed a variety of church activities.

Being a Christian wife, mother, granna and friend brought her life's greatest rewards.

She is survived by her husband, Bill; her son, Matthew (Bethany); and grandsons, Joshua and Luke of Murray, Ky.; as well as her son, Christopher and his fiancé, Katherine, of Sandwich, N.H. She also is survived by her brother, Terry (Mary) Allen; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

SLOAN — Friends of Diana Kay Sloan, who died Saturday, March 29, 2025, will be received from 10 a.m. until the time of service at noon Monday, March 31, 2025, at YOUNG FUNERAL HOME, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler, with Pastor David Janz officiating.

Private burial will follow in West Sunbury Union Cemetery, West Sunbury.
