Elizabeth Audo

Audo

Elizabeth Ann Audo, 59, of Butler, went to be with her Lord and Savior Sunday, March 30, 2025.

Born Sept. 7, 1965, in Memphis, Tenn., she was the daughter of the late Jesse “Alvin” Murphy Sr. and Carol Ann (Luker) Murphy. Although she was born in Tennessee, she grew up in Shreveport, La.

Elizabeth had a tremendous soul, kindhearted nature and cared about all her friends, even the ones she had just met. Her laughter filled the room and she always made sure to make you laugh. A wonderful wife, mother and “Gigi” to her grandkids, you’d always find her on the sidelines cheering the grandkids on. After graduating from Louisiana State University with a degree in speech pathology, she made a career at Lifesteps as a speech pathologist and previously starred in the movie “Steel Magnolias” as one of Julia Roberts’s bridesmaids.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband of 25 years, Dino Audo; her sons, Carlo (Mia) Morando, Kyle (Shannon) Audo and Andrew Audo; her brother, Jesse Alvin Murphy Jr. (Shelaine); her sister, Mary (Les) Albright; her grandchildren, Lillian Elizabeth Morando, Bennett Morando, Cole Audo and Elijah Audo; and several nieces and nephews.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her father, Jesse “Alvin” Murphy Sr.; her in-laws, Lorraine and Bruno Audo; and her maternal grandmother, Dorothy Harlan.
