The state Department of Transportation has announced that it will begin paving on Route 422 from the Butler County line into Armstrong County beginning on Monday, April 7.

Paving operations will begin at the intersection with Graham/Burke Road in Clearfield Township, and will continue into Worthington in Armstrong County. Along the route, traffic will be reduced to one lane on Route 422 in both directions from April 7 to the end of May, and flaggers will direct traffic.
