Steighner

Ronald L. “Hot Dog” Steighner, 87, of Butler and Leesburg, Fla., passed away Thursday, Jan. 16, 2025, in the comfort of his Florida home and with his loving family at his side.

Friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, April 5, at All Saints Parish, St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church, 432 Center Ave., Butler.

A Mass of Christian burial will immediately follow at 11 a.m. at the church, with the Rev. Kevin C. Fazio officiating.

Military honors will be accorded at the church by VFW Post 249, American Legion Post 778 and VFW Post 499.

Burial will take place in St. Michael’s Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Martin Funeral Home, 429 Center Ave., Butler.
