Dolores Remis
Dolores L. Remis, 91, of Kittanning, passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.
Born in McVille, South Buffalo Township, she was the daughter of the late Alexander G. and Louise (Zanetti) Foradori.
Dolores was employed at the Butler mushroom mines and Fair Winds Manor. She was a longtime member of the St. Lawrence Church and the Altar Society. Dolores enjoyed camping, word searches, playing dominoes and cards, bird watching, gardening and cherished spending time with her family.
Dolores was well-known as one of the sweetest and kindest people on the earth.
She is survived by her husband of 70 plus years, Anthony J. Remis; daughters, Alexandria (Wayne) Schultz of Butler and Elizabeth Remis of Kittanning; daughter-in-law, Deborah Remis of Pittsburgh; grandchildren, Theresa, Philip, Walker and Elijah; sister-in-law, Janice Foradori of Kittanning; and many extended family members and friends.
In addition to her parents, Dolores was preceded in death by her beloved son, Anthony Remis; and her brother, Alexander Foradori.
REMIS — Visitation for Dolores L. Remis, who died Wednesday, April 2, 2025, will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, April 6, at MANTINI FUNERAL HOME, 701 Sixth Ave., Ford City.
A Mass of Christian burial will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday, April 7, at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Cadogan. Burial will follow in Guardian Angel Cemetery.
