Shelby Jean Gregg, 67, of Butler, passed away peacefully the morning of Friday, April 4, 2025, while under the care of Good Samaritan Hospice House in Wexford.

Born Jan. 21, 1958, in Butler, she was the daughter of the late Robert Cashdollar Sr. and Phyllis Hilliard.

Shelby was a 1976 graduate of Butler High School, and went on to attend Florida College of Natural Health where she earned her degree in massage therapy. She made her career as a massage therapist in Fort Lauderdale and Butler. Shelby loved her job, and cared for all of her clients like they were family. She enjoyed cooking, traveling and gardening with her “back door man” and neighbor, George. Above all else, Shelby loved her family and was extremely proud of all of her military men.

She is survived by her husband, David K. Gregg, whom she married April 21, 2007; her son, Jason McCandless and his fiancée, Julie Colsey; her stepson, Jason Gregg and his wife, Breah; two brothers, Todd Cashdollar and his wife, Penny, and Robert Cashdollar Jr. and his wife, Alisa; six grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and a great-nephew.

GREGG — Family and friends of Shelby Jean Gregg, who died Friday, April 4, 2025, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 9, at THOMPSON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 124 E. North St., Butler.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 10, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Dr. Denny Krajacic officiating.

Shelby will be laid to rest at Greenlawn Burial Estates.
