It is with heavy hearts yet a spirit of celebration that we announce the passing of Glenn G. Geisel, who departed this life Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at the age of 75.
Born on June 29, 1949, in Pittsburgh, Glenn lived a fulfilling life marked by his love for family, nature and community.
Glenn, a dedicated husband to his beloved wife, Frances A. Geisel, for 52 wonderful years, was a proud father to his son, Geoffrey G. Geisel.
He took great joy in life’s simple pleasures, especially fly fishing, which brought him peace and happiness in the great outdoors. His commitment to service was evident in his volunteer work with Cranberry Community United Presbyterian Church (CCUPC) and the Fish and Boat Commission, reflecting his deep love for both faith and nature. Glenn also contributed his talents as a member of the Cranberry Township Zoning Hearing Board, where his insights were invaluable.
Glenn G. Geisel will be deeply missed, but his spirit will forever be remembered in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
GEISEL — Friends and family are invited to celebrate the extraordinary life of Glenn G. Geisel, who died Wednesday, April 9, 2025, during visitation hours from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME OF CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, 2678 Rochester Road, Cranberry Township.
A celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to be made to the American Heart Association, the CCUPC, or Trout Unlimited, organizations that aligned with Glenn’s values and passions.
