1 hospitalized after 2-car crash on Sunday in Center Township
One individual was taken to a hospital with minor injuries after a two-vehicle crash on North Main Street in Center Township on Sunday, April 13.
The incident was first reported at 2:20 p.m. on Sunday, and involved a gold Chevrolet and a black Honda minivan. Both vehicles sustained heavy damage and the air bag was deployed in each vehicle.
According to assistant fire chief Shaun Milkovich of the Unionville Volunteer Fire Company, the one injury was the driver of the Chevrolet and her injuries were minor.
“One female was transported with minor injuries. No significant injuries,” Milkovich said. “Everybody in the minivan was uninjured.”
While Milkovich described the crash as “a rear-end style collision,” it is currently unclear how the crash happened.
In the immediate aftermath of the crash, North Main Street in Center Township was reduced to one lane with alternating traffic.
