Comperatore blood drive nets 187 units
A blood drive held April 12 and 13 in memory of Corey Comperatore collected 187 units, according to Vitalant. The family of Comperatore, a Buffalo Township firefighter who was killed in the July 13 assassination attempt on President Donald Trump when he was campaigning at the Butler Farm Show, organized the blood drive at Laube Hall in Freeport Community Park in Armstrong County.
“Together, the two drives held April 12 to 13 at Laube Hall collected 187 units of blood — each one a meaningful tribute to Corey’s legacy of service and community,” said Vitalant communications manager Maya Santana.
