Linda Dallas
Linda Claire Dallas, of Pittsburgh, passed away Monday, April 7, 2025, just two days shy of her birthday, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Linda was born in Butler on April 9, 1952, to Dorothy Allshouse Pollin and adopted by Gerald Russell Cunningham and Rita Mountain Cunningham.
Linda married Robert Dallas in 1972. He preceded her in death in 2004.
She is survived by a daughter, Carmella Dallas; a loving fiancé, Bobby Thompson; and Fluffy, her beloved cat.
Linda wanted to know her heritage, so with the help of Kathleen Maloney's research and Ancestry DNA, she was able to find a half-sister, Linda Kay Karenbauer Chamberlain, and a very special cousin, Carmella Gordon Bonetti, and both brought Linda much happiness.
Many thanks goes to Mary Ann Homol and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for all their love and support during her illness.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of your choice in Linda’s name.
Linda Dallas will be remembered as being humble and kind, but also strong and determined, up to the end. Her life was not without challenge, but she felt it made her a strong person. She displayed a positive attitude and liked to help others. She was a friend to many.
She will be missed.
