The Saxonburg Area Rotary Club, along with a group of volunteers from the borough, volunteered their time and energy on Saturday, April 12 to clean up Roebling Park.

In addition to nine members of the Rotary, six borough employees or council members — two of whom, Dave Johnston and Brian Antoszyk, are also Rotarians — pitched into help, as did Lukas Swartzlander, a member of the Knoch Honor Society.

“The Saxonburg Rotary Club and Saxonburg borough have collaborated on an annual park cleanup for several years, drawing numerous volunteers from the borough and surrounding community,” said Rotary member Karen Antoszyk. “Roebling Park is a vital and charming asset of Saxonburg that receives considerable attention.”
