Grove City School Board approves fitness center upgrade
Members of the Grove City Area School District board on Monday, April 14, unanimously approved plans to expand and upgrade the district’s fitness center.
The renovation will add 230 square feet by converting nearby closets. Part of the renovation and $103,000 in new equipment will be funded through prior donations and sponsors. Officials are seeking additional funding for the reminder of the project, according to a news release.
Assistant superintendent Joshua Weaver said the improved space will better serve physical education classes and sports programs.
