Police reports

The following items were collected from various police departments and district courts:

Butler

April 4 — Shane K. Shaw-Henderson, 36, of Ligonier, was charged with felony criminal trespass and misdemeanor drug paraphernalia possession following an April 3 incident. Police said Shaw-Henderson broke into an apartment and was found asleep in a bed with two syringes, a glass smoking tube with residue and a plastic smoking tube with residue.

Middlesex Twp

April 7 — Benjamin G. Kingan, 30, of Saxonburg, was charged with misdemeanor accident involving damage following a March 28 crash. Police said Kingan crashed into another vehicle and left the scene.

State police, Butler

2:21 p.m. April 13 — Police responded to a two-vehicle crash near the area of North Main Street and Pine Drive in Center Township. Police said Tamara M. Moore, 56, of Slippery Rock, was driving south on North Main Street in a Chevrolet Trax and rear-ended a Honda Odyssey driven by Michael M. Ambuske, 47, of Butler, who had a 9-year-old girl in the vehicle. Moore sustained a suspected minor injury and was transported by Butler Ambulance Service. Police said both vehicles sustained disabling damage and were towed.

April 4 — Shayne M. Arblaster, 19, and Thomas L. Shuler Jr., 18, both of Chicora, were charged with one misdemeanor count each of simple assault and disorderly conduct following a Feb. 12 incident in East Butler. Police said Arblaster and Shuler punched a man in the head, neck and face.

April 7 — Joseph E. Vozar Jr., 33, of Parker, was charged with two misdemeanor counts each of driving under the influence of alcohol and driving with a revoked license following an April 6 crash in Eau Claire. Police said Vozar had a blood alcohol content of 0.188%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.

April 7 — Robert J. Benscoter, 46, of Slippery Rock, was charged with misdemeanor DUI following an April 3 crash in Clay Township. Police said Benscoter admitted he was drunk but refused a chemical blood test.

April 8 — Ronald L. Schaeffer, 49, of Evans City, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of terroristic threats and simple assault following an April 6 incident in Connoquenessing Township. Police said Schaeffer punched a woman in her head and legs and threatened to kill her.

April 8 — Anthony S. Carbin, 37, of Parker, was charged with two misdemeanor DUI counts and one misdemeanor count of controlled substance possession following an April 1 traffic stop in Bruin. Police said Carbin tested positive for methamphetamine and had a plastic Ziploc bag containing suspected methamphetamine.

April 9 — Vincent J. Perrine, 59, of Boyers, was charged with misdemeanor DUI following a Feb. 15 traffic stop in Slippery Rock Township. Police said Perrine showed signs of impairment but refused a preliminary breath test.

April 9 — Jackiedaniels E. Stevens, 37, of East McKeesport, was charged with two misdemeanor DUI counts following an April 5 traffic stop in Muddy Creek Township. Police said Stevens had a BAC of 0.115%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.

April 9 — Anibal Gonzalez, 48, of Prospect, was charged with three misdemeanor DUI counts following a March 23 traffic stop in Prospect. Police said Gonzalez tested positive for marijuana and Gabapentin and had a BAC of 0.14%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.

April 9 — Thomas A. Reed Jr., 38, of New Castle, was charged with misdemeanor theft from a vehicle following a March 31 incident in Harrisville. Police said Reed entered the vehicle four times and stole $300 of materials.

Zelienople

April 3 — Steven T. Guthrie Sr., 43, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor operating a vehicle without ignition interlock following a March 29 traffic stop. Police said Guthrie did not have an ignition interlock installed on the vehicle when one is required.
