Final results from Butler Track and Field Invitational: Winners, team champions, local medalists

BUTLER TWP — Butler’s boys did not take home the championship belt late Thursday night, but they did finish fourth with 51 points in the Butler Track and Field Invitational at Art Bernardi Stadium.

Quaker Valley won the boys championship with 66 points, while Norwin’s girls won the title with 57.

The Butler Invite ended near 11:30 p.m. Thursday, and technical difficulties delayed the official reporting of many of the results.

The Golden Tornado boys won the 4x400-meter and 4x100 relays and finished three seconds behind Norwin for the 4x800 title, continuing to prove their relay dominance early on this season.
