Patricia and David Macurdy wed on June 8, 1974.

David Macurdy and Patricia Macurdy, of Center Township, will celebrate their 51st wedding anniversary June 8.

David Macurdy married the former Patricia Logan on June 8, 1974, at Cabot United Methodist Church. The Macurdys have three children: Kelly Provident, of Butler; Ashley Bartley, of Butler; and Amy Snook, of Butler. They also have two grandchildren.

David Macurdy is a retired lieutenant at the Butler Bureau of Police, and was a deputy with the Butler County Sheriff’s Department. Patricia Macurdy was a homemaker.

The Macurdys celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary, with a dinner with their immediate family.
