Butler golf courses 2025: What to know about public, private clubs in county

Check the forecast, schedule those tee times and break out the clubs. It’s golf season.

With weather warming — although acting it’s typically volatile spring self — golfers have already begun to head out to the links. Butler County is home to nearly 20 golf courses, and is close to this year’s U.S. Open at Oakmont Country Club. It’s one of the most golf-accessible counties in Pennsylvania.

As the 2025 golf season heats up, the Butler Eagle will be spotlighting the scene, including a series of promotional articles on county golf courses.
