Multiple departments responded to a house fire on West Sunbury Road in Marion Township Thursday evening.

Firefighters from Bruin, West Sunbury, Center Township Marion Township, Pine Township, Slippery Rock, Unionville and Petrolia were among those sent to control the blaze reported at about 5 p.m.

As of 5:30, emergency dispatch reported the fire under control, but crews were still at the site as of shortly after 6 p.m.
