Police reports

The following items were collected from various police departments and district courts:

Butler Twp

April 15 — Wilbert L. Stackhouse, 58, of Butler, was charged with one felony count each of forgery and using a counterfeit access device, and one misdemeanor count of theft following a March 31 incident. Police said Stackhouse cashed a fraudulent check for $950.

April 16 — Joann D. Brothers, 40, of Butler, was charged with two felony counts each of false written statement and two misdemeanor counts of statement under penalty following an April 14 incident. Police said Brothers answered incorrectly on a firearms application.

Cranberry Twp

April 15 — Deandre L. Wright, 38, of East Pittsburgh, was charged with felony retail theft following a Dec. 21 incident. Police said Wright stole $826.90 of merchandise and has eight retail theft convictions.

Penn Twp

April 14 — Daniel B. Goettler, 69, of Butler, was charged with two misdemeanor counts of controlled substance possession and one misdemeanor count each of reckless endangerment, DUI and drug paraphernalia possession following a March 23 crash. Police said Goettler had 33 grams of cocaine, three grams of marijuana, an orange plastic straw with white powdery residue and showed signs of impairment.

Saxonburg

April 14 — Maria R. Haney, 21, of Butler, was charged with two misdemeanor DUI counts following a Jan. 18 crash. Police said Haney had a blood alcohol content of 0.196%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.

Slippery Rock

April 14 — Collin M. George, 25, of Mercer, was charged with two misdemeanor DUI counts following an April 3 crash. Police said George had a blood alcohol content of 0.169%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.

State police, Butler

April 14 — Laura Bivona, 54, of Butler, was charged with two misdemeanor counts of driving under the influence of alcohol following a March 15 incident in Summit Township. Police said Bivona had a blood alcohol content of 0.15%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.

April 14 — Kaitlyn M. Shaw, 19, of Bruin, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of simple assault and harassment following an April 13 incident in Bruin. Police said Shaw cut a man with a box cutter, punched and slapped him.

April 15 — Ashten E. Bearfield, 36, of East Brady, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of theft and receiving stolen property following a March 14 incident in Butler Township. Police said Bearfield stole a 65-inch Roku TV and returned it to Walmart for $315.88.

April 15 — Phillip A. Campbell, 44, of Butler, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of criminal conspiracy and receiving stolen property following a March 14 incident in Butler Township. Police said Campbell helped steal at 65“ Roku TV and returned it to Walmart for $315.88.

April 15 — Christopher R. Verbanic, 23, of Seven Fields, was charged with two misdemeanor DUI counts following a March 2 traffic stop in Cranberry Township. Police said Verbanic had a blood alcohol content of 0.189%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.

April 15 — Timothy R. Saar, 65, of Emlenton, was charged with three misdemeanor DUI counts and one misdemeanor count of accidents involving damage following a March 17 crash in Cranberry Township. Police said Saar left the scene of a crash, tested positive for marijuana and had a blood alcohol content of 0.119%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.

Zelienople

April 15 — Deborah R. Anderson, 54, of Jeannette, was charged with two misdemeanor DUI counts following an April 3 traffic stop. Police said Anderson had a blood alcohol content of 0.209%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.
