Elizabeth “Betty” A. Griffin, 84, of Zelienople, died on Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2022, at UPMC Passavant Hospital.

Betty was born on Dec. 16, 1937, in Pittsburgh, and was the daughter of the late Robert J. and Emma Murphy Patton.

She was a longtime member of the Elks Club in Cranberry, and the Hungarian Club of Zelienople.

Things she enjoyed the most were spending time with her family, baking, playing bingo, and lottery tickets!

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dick Griffin; her son, Robert “Robbie” Carlin; and her sister, Mary “Mimi” Kraus.

Betty “Mema” leaves behind her sister, Lois Patton; her brother, Robert “Bob” Patton; her granddaughters, Dannielle Carlin-Ilovar and wife, Vanessa, and Dana Agulis and husband, Ernie; her great-granddaughters, Lillian and Emma Agulis; her daughter-in-law, Lisa Carlin; her stepchildren, Linda Kirschler, and Wayne, Rick, Doug and Jeff Griffin; several stepgrandchildren and great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

GRIFFIN — The family of Elizabeth “Betty” A. Griffin, who died Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2022, will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

The family requests for family and friends to please wear a mask during their visit to the funeral home.

Interment will follow at English Lutheran Church Cemetery.
