William David Savage

Savage

William David Savage, 44, of Rankin Chapel Road, Kennerdell, Scrubgrass Township, Venango County, died at 12:20 a.m. Tuesday at his home after an illness.

Born June 14, 1963, in Franklin, he was the son of Walter "John" and Mary A. McGinnis Savage of Kennerdell.

He was a 1982 graduate of the Allegheny-Clarion Valley High School and was employed at Hovis Auto Supply in Lisbon, Venango County, for years.

Mr. Savage was a member of the Paul W. Wood VFW Post 7840 in Cherry Valley.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by two sons, Adam D. and Aaron W. Savage, both of Kennerdell; his sons' mother, Melissa Savage Orr of Harrisville; four brothers and two sisters-in-law, Robert L. and Kathy Savage and Richard A. Savage, all of Kennerdell, Dale C. and Darlene Savage of Emlenton and James R. Savage of Kennerdell; a sister and her husband, Christine A. and Dale Lesnick of North Versailles, Allegheny County; and a special aunt and caretaker, Phyllis McGinnis of Kennerdell. He also is survived by eight nieces and nephews, four great-nephews, and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Pamela J. Savage; a brother, Marcus W. Savage; his maternal grandparents, Wayne and Alice McGinnis; his paternal grandfather, Jasper Savage; and his maternal great-grandparents, Alonzo and Mary Wade.

<B>SAVAGE</B> — Friends of William David Savage, who died Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the <B>Hile Funeral Home Inc</B>., 1204 Kerr Ave., Emlenton. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. David Smith, pastor of the Franklin Church of the Nazarene, officiating. Burial will follow at the Scrubgrass Cemetery, Scrubgrass Township, Venango County.Memorial contributions may be made to the William D.
