A woman was transported to Butler Memorial Hospital following a three-vehicle crash in the northbound lane on Route 8, just south of Decatur Drive, at around 4:40 p.m. Monday.

Butler Township Volunteer Fire District and Butler Township police had the road closed to one lane while they cleared the accident. The Butler Bureau of Fire and Butler Ambulance Service also responded to the scene.

Fire department Chief Kevin Smith said each vehicle involved only had one occupant, and none of the vehicles sustained much damage in the crash. There were no other injuries.
