Sara Marie Davis, 31, of Butler passed away Thursday.

She was born March 18, 1979, in Butler, the daughter of James E. Davis of Butler, Ga., and Linda (Kern) Bates of Butler.

She was an adoring and loving mother to Victoria, her 9-year-old daughter.

Sara loved attending school, fishing, music, flowers and camping.

Surviving are her daughter, Victoria Lynn Davis at home; her mother, Linda (Kern) Bates, with whom she lived; her sister, Teresa Lynn Davis of Butler; her maternal grandmother, Sara Kern of Butler; an uncle, Kurt Kern of Butler; and her father, James E. Davis, a half-sister, Melody Lynn Davis, and a half-brother, James E. Davis II, all of Butler, Ga.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Harry Kern, and her uncle, Lehnard Kern.
