Manhunt for Slippery Rock Twp. man is over
The manhunt for a Slippery Rock Township man is over.
State police arrested Cody Isaacson, 27, who has been the subject of a search since last week on felony assault and other charges stemming from altercations with his father.
Troopers were en route with Isaacson about 1:30 p.m. today to District Judge Bill O'Donnell's office in Slippery Rock to arraign him on charges in two cases.
In one case, he allegedly drove his car into his father's porch along New Castle Road in Prospect on Sept. 22. In another case, police said, Isaacson is accused of threatening to beat up his father while holding a sledgehammer and pouring gasoline on the victim and chasing him around with a lighter.
Before his arrest, he was last seen Thursday on the 100 block of New Castle Road, but fled into a wooded area as police attempted to arrest him.
Police at the time reported Isaacson may be armed, and is considered dangerous.
