Timothy A. Karenbauer

Timothy A. Karenbauer, 52, of Herman passed away Tuesday morning at his home following a courageous four-year battle with cancer.

Born on March 30, 1963, in Butler, he was the son of Lorraine C. Penrod Karenbauer and the late Blaine D. Karenbauer.

He was a member of the Saint Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church in Herman, and he also was a member of the Summit Township Sportsman Club.

Tim was formerly employed at Heasley's Nursery.

He is survived by his daughter, Catherine Karenbauer of Butler; his mother, Lorraine C. Penrod Karenbauer of Herman; one brother, Dave Karenbauer and Claudene Bopp of Herman; two sisters, Theresa Spohn and her husband, Mike, of Butler; and Donna Carben and her husband, Jerry, of Butler.

Tim also is survived by four grandchildren, Colban, Nevaeh, Zaine and Maranna; and six nephews and nieces, Andrew, Jericho, Courtney, Tiffany, Samantha and Kendyl.

In addition, he is also survived by Erica, Troy and Steven.

He was preceded in death by his father, Blaine D. Karenbauer, who passed away Feb. 24, 2001, and his brother, Joseph Karenbauer, who passed away Sept. 24, 2010.

KARENBAUER — Friends of Timothy A. Karenbauer, who died Tuesday, July 7, 2015, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Martin Funeral Home, 429 Center Ave., Butler.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 2:30 p.m. Friday at the Saint Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church, Herman, with the Rev. Mark Pattock, OFM Cap., officiating. Burial will take place at Saint Mary's Cemetery.For more information, please visit www.martinfh.net.
