Theresa M. Watson
Mrs. Theresa Marie Watson, 92, of 433 Line Ave., Ellwood City, passed away peacefully on Friday at her residence after a brief illness. She passed surrounded by her loving family.
Mrs. Watson was born in New Castle on April 13, 1920, to the late Michele and Mary Salzillo Russo. She was married to the late Robert B. Watson on Nov. 20, 1948, and who passed on Aug. 29, 2000.
Theresa attended Lincoln High School and was a member of the Holy Redeemer Church. She loved being a homemaker for her children and husband and enjoyed her passion for cooking which also included baking, canning and sharing her favorite recipes with family and friends. She especially loved, and lived for, her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is the last survivor of her family!
Theresa is survived by two daughters, Lorraine Cline of Ellwood City and her fiance, Anthony Buzzelli, and Michele (Charles) Zeigler of North Sewickley Township; two sons, Bruce (Jeanne) Watson of Meridian and Robert B. Jr. (Rebecca) Watson of Beckley, W.Va.; eight grandchildren, Steven Watson and his fiance, Michelle Cready, Keith Watson, Jennifer (Dwayne) Maynard, Joshua Hartsog, Zack Hartsog, Christin (Lee) Wilhelm, and Aaron and Tyler Zeigler; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Andrew and Albert Russo; two sisters, Yolanda Russo and Archangel Gebrosky; and one son-in-law, Robert Cline.
WATSON — Visitation for Theresa Marie Watson, who died Friday, Oct. 5, 2012, will be held on Sunday from 3 to 8 p.m. in the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home, Ellwood City.A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday in the Holy Redeemer Church at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at the Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
