James Weisenstein

James H. Weisenstein, 68, of Center Township went to his heavenly home Friday. He will always be in our hearts and will never be forgotten.

He was born in Butler March 4, 1942, and lived on Mercer Road all his life. He worked on his grandfather's diary farm when he as a boy.

He always loved driving his truck — it was in his blood. He worked for Dave Tesone Trucking until their retirement. He then worked for Kenny Beck Trucking until his retirement.

Surviving are his wife of almost 50 years, Elizabeth M. “Betty” Grillo Weisenstein, who he married May 10, 1961; two sons, James “Jimmie” Weisenstein II and his wife, Melissa, and Kevin M. Weisenstein; a daughter, Lisa A. Weisenstein; seven grandchildren, Alisha Weisenstein, Austin Weisenstein, Tyler Atkinson, Cameron Weisenstein, Dylan Weisenstein, Nathon Weisenstein and Haley Fectucci; and his mother, Verna B. Weisenstein.

He was preceded in death by his father, Howard Weisenstein.

<B>WEISENSTEIN</B> — Friends of James H. Weisenstein, who died Friday, Jan. 28, 2011, will be received at the <B>Young Funeral Home</B>,127 W. Jefferson St., Butler, Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Curt McDaniel officiating. Burial will be in Butler County Memorial Park.Information also is available at www.youngfuneralhomes.com.
