Dr. Jane C. Rugh M.D., 68, of Renfrew, passed away on June 23, 2021, after courageously dealing with her sudden illness.

She was born as the daughter of Dr. Lloyd Rugh M.D., and his wife, Jane (Craig).

During her childhood, she was an athlete and won many swimming contests. She also played golf and tennis, and lived an energetic, healthy life.

She had a bachelor’s degree in microbiology and served many years in the medical field as an M.D. and educator of medical students.

She was outgoing and friendly, and inspired many people. She was very much loved and will be missed by her family and friends in the United States, Germany and Grenada.

RUGH — Due to COVID-19, Jane did not want a ceremony. We are celebrating the beautiful life of Dr. Jane C. Rugh M.D., who died Wednesday, June 23, 2021, with private prayer and candlelight in her memory.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Boylan Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Connoquenessing Township, 856 Evans City Road, Renfrew.
