EVANS CITY — One person has been taken to UPMC Passavant Cranberry and is expected to be airlifted to Pittsburgh for further treatment, after an accident at Pittsburgh Plug and Products Thursday afternoon.
Ambulances were dispatched to the business shortly before 1 p.m., for a reported forklift accident.
Emergency responders called for a medical helicopter, but the aircraft could not land in Evans City because of a mechanical issue.
No other details were immediately available.
