Marion L. Morse, 91, of North Fort Myers, Fla., formerly of Butler, passed away at 11:45 p.m. Monday at the Hope Hospice in Cape Coral, Fla.

She was born Feb. 1, 1921, in Erie to the late Gail Rilling and Louise (Hess) Rilling.

Mrs. Morse attended the Bayshore Community Chapel in North Fort Myers, Fla. She was a homemaker and enjoyed crafts and bowling.

Mrs. Morse is survived by three sons, Herbert Morse of Ft. Pierce, Fla., Donald Morse and his wife, Nancy, of Butler and Jeffrey Morse of Wexford; one daughter, Jeanne Drescher of North Fort Myers, Fla.; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; one niece; and two nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward G. Morse, who she married on June 26, 1937, and who passed away on Aug. 10, 1999; and one brother, Chester Rilling.

MORSE — Friends of Marion L. Morse, who died Monday, Aug. 13, 2012, will be received at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday.Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. William Shaw officiating.
