Charles Spangler III

Charles Edgar "Chad" Spangler III, 51, formerly of Braddock Hills, and currently of Slippery Rock, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2022, in the comfort of his home, surrounded by his loving family.

Born on May 23, 1970, he was the son of the late Charles Edgar Spangler Jr. and Jacquelyn Ann (Kramer) Spangler.

Chad owned and operated Superior Auto Glass in Zelienople.

An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time at his camp in Clinton, Pa. He was an expert at the card game euchre. He had the best “Top Shelf” friends any man could ask for and loved spending time with them.

Chad will be remembered as a larger-than-life guy, who impacted everyone he met in a positive way. He loved his family unconditionally, and will be dearly missed and fondly remembered.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, Tawnya Lynn (Bellian) Spangler; his adored boys, Nicholas and Christopher Spangler; his stepchildren, Nikki Granger, Leeia Rohrman and Dale Rohrman Jr.; his stepgrandson, Kallen Plassmeyer; his special aunt, Mary Kay Kramer; and his beloved dogs, Remington and Ruger.

In addition to his parents, Chad was preceded in death by his grandmother, Elvira May Kramer, whom he affectionately called “Nan.”

SPANGLER — A celebration of life ceremony will be held at a later date for Charles Edgar "Chad" Spangler III, who died Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2022.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.
