Blake Anthony Callender, 4 day old, of West Sunbury died at 2:20 p.m. Tuesday in Western Pennsylvania Hospital, Pittsburgh, following complications at birth.

Born in Butler Hospital, Aug. 14, 2009, he was the son of Jenny Callender of West Sunbury.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his maternal grandparents, Edwin and Betty (Parsons) Callender of West Sunbury; his uncle, Eddie Callender of Grove City; and six aunts, Karen McDonald and her husband, Shawn, of Butler, Marie Hewitt and her husband, Jimmy, of Vermont, Shawnya McMasters and her husband, Gary, of Butler, Becky Callender and her fiance, Joe Angello, of Butler, Lisa Callender of West Sunbury and Chyanne Callender of West Sunbury. Also surviving are 12 great-aunts, 12 great-uncles, numerous cousins and close personal friends, Peggy Burkett, and Lori and Andy Graham.

He was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandparents, paternal great-grandparents and a great-uncle.

<B>CALLENDER </B>— Friends of Blake Anthony Callender, who died Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2009, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the <B>STEIGHNER FUNERAL HOME</B>, 111 E. Slippery Rock and Main streets, Chicora. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Thomas Kelley, pastor of Church of God, Karns City, officiating.
