KC's early jump torches E. Forest
Karns City scored 12 runs in the top of the first inning and led 16-2 after two frames on the way to a 19-9 baseball rout of East Forest Thursday.
Josh Behrens had four singles and four RBI to lead the onslaught for the Gremlins (5-1).
In other action:
Kyle Hilliard had three hits and three RBI to lead Union to a 7-5 victory over A-C Valley, which had a three-run homer by Andy Smith and a homer and double by John Kaufman.
Nathan Markle had two hits and two RBI, but Moniteau fell to host Clarion-Limestone, 7-5.
